Recalls have been going on all the time in the automotive department this year. Perhaps one of the most high profile of automotive recalls so far this year was the notorious Toyota recall involving a defective accelerator pedal. At least consistency is shown with one more Toyota recall coming. Less autos are being recalled now. That means less individuals will be affected by it. Only a couple of model years have to be recalled. Not only that, but only two different cars are being within the recall also. Despite the fact that it is small, Toyota will get hurt since it is nevertheless trying to get better after the recall from before.

The circuit board can crack in the Engine Control Module, which is not good. The engine might shut off while driving or affect the shifting. The engine may have difficulties beginning. That is also common with this problem. There are 1.13 million autos in the U.S. and one more 200,000 in Canada that might be affected. As outlined by the Los Angeles Times, the total is being brought up from this for cars recalled this year for Toyota. The total has now hit about 10 million. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating these models.
Toyota can’t do better after market share
U.S. auto sales have had market share kept by Toyota. This could be really bad for Toyota. This could be the one thing stopping all the progress. Many companies would like to take back their business. These contain Ford, General Motors and Chrysler.
